Chris lives in Bismarck and is a part of McCabe United Methodist Church as a Lay Leader. He also volunteers at Rebuilding Together.
Chris has an incredible passion for helping people who are suffering, which is why he helped start the Celebrate Recovery Program at McCabe and serves as the ministry leader. He loves spreading the word that Jesus died for us and uses his talents to help people strengthen their relationship with Jesus.
When not working in the church and Celebrate Recovery, Chris works as a contractor in Bismarck. He values all the relationships and friends he has made in his life. He loves going on out-of-state trips with his family, spending time with his son, and hunting. He also has a talent for mechanical work.
Tony is an "old dog" who has had many experiences and stories to share.
Tony has 35 years clean and sober which makes his experience invaluable to members of Celebrate Recovery. His role within Celebrate Recovery involves training members to become Recovery Leaders, and being part of the volunteer group that holds services at the State Penitentiary. Tony enjoys and excels at sharing this Christ based recovery program with inmates.
Tony spends his free time being an active and involved parent with his children.
Chad was born and raised in Mandan and is a strong believer in Christ.
Chad's passion for spreading the love of Jesus is matched only by his compassionate nature, which makes him perfect for his role as an Encourager coach with the Celebrate Recovery group. Every week, Chad shows up to services with a smile on his face. He takes the time to get to know everybody and make them feel welcome at weekly services.
Chad is a proud father of three sons. When not spreading the word of Jesus, he spends his free time riding motorcycle, fishing, and learning guitar.
Barb grew up in Libby, a small town Northwest Montana before living on the West coast for 28 years. She has been living in North Dakota for almost three years. She has two amazing boys that are her whole heart and two daughter-in-laws that she adores. She has two amazing grandchildren that give her more unconditional love than she could imagine.
Barb is an Encouraging coach for Celebrate Recovery, which fits her perfectly since she loves to encourage people to do well in their life and grow closer to God, no matter what their hangups are. She loves that the program is geared towards all walks of life.
Barb loves to spread the word of the Lord and encourage other people to have a higher power in their life. She believes that without Jesus, she would not be alive. She enjoys fishing and spending time outside in all seasons, but her favorite is the summer rain.
Mary Lee is a Bismarck native and a retired social worker. Her participation in McCabe United Methodist Church activities include: volunteer cook with the Say Y.E.S Program, a mentor for the Kids Hope Program, a secretary and member of the Trustee's Committee, representative on the Open Door Community Center Board, Meals On Wheels, and has served on the Finance Committee.
Mary Lee shares her passion for Jesus with others through her willingness and bright spirit through Celebrate Recovery. She serves as the Assimilation Coach, a position which is perfect for her given her extensive volunteer work with McCabe.
When not volunteering, Mary Lee takes Tai Chi classes and yoga classes. She enjoys traveling, reading, is a member of a book club, and never stops learning with OLLI classes.
